Welcome!

You have found our blogspot at AboutBeverages.com.
Here you will find contributions from a variety of people, offering their own unique views of the beverage world and sometimes the world in general.  Below you will see a list of the people who will be contributing on a (somewhat) regular basis, a brief bio, and a little preview of some of the things they may write about.  Keith and Andrew will be making regular contributions and we are welcoming in some other “Bevheads” from other areas of the country.

We invite you to leave comments on these postings or head on over to The Round Table and begin a discussion about any of these topics, or any topic you would like to discuss for that matter.

So without further delay, pour yourself a glass or a mug of something tasty, pull up a chair and enjoy your Session reading About Beverages!

Keith, Co-Founder AboutBeverages.com

In my blog, I will discuss a variety of interesting topics relating not only to beverages, but about food as well.  I anticipate that the majority of my posts will center in some way around these two topics, but they will not be limited to them at all.  I may touch on sports, books, etc, as well.
I would love to hear your comments and feedback about what I have to say, so please leave a comment on my blog post or start a discussion at our “Round Table.”  I am really excited that we have a place for our beverage community to get together and talk about the things we really enjoy.  One of the reasons I like the term “Round Table” is that the table that is used for evaluation of coffee is most often a “round table.”  I have been a part of many great discussions and discoveries while seated at a table such as this, and I know that my blog is going to be the starting point for many more.
Thanks for reading my blog and I look forward to hearing from you!

Just to warn you ahead of time, my blog posts may be a little different.  I would like to say it will always involve beverage discussion, but I can’t guarantee that.  What you will find is an opinion.  My opinion.  That is not to say that I only appreciate my own perspective.  In fact, there is nothing better than a healthy discussion between people with different thoughts and ideas.  That is what I am hoping to achieve with my blog posts.  Discourse.  So go ahead and read what I have to say.  Agree.  Disagree.  Be ambivalent.  All of these options are good, but no matter what you choose to do, just let me know what you think.  Take a moment and post a comment at the end of my “On The Rocks” Blog.  If something I said makes you want to start a larger discussion and get the rest of the community involved, head over to “The Round Table” and start a new topic.  Until then, got anything to drink?

Dave, the “So Cal Connection”

I am truly all about beverages, and food, as well!  I love cooking, grilling, and baking for my family and friends. One of my favorite things to do is to find the perfect match of food and drink.  My appreciation for beverages is limitless.  From a good morning cup of java, to a snifter of fine bourbon to finish an evening spent with family or friends, a good beverage enhances any occasion.  I have an unquenchable thirst for beverage knowledge and over the last several years there has been a constant give and take of information between myself and the aboutbeverages.com co-founders.  In addition, while travelling, I am always on the lookout for new things to try; whether it be coffee, wine, or cheese, among other things.
I have a lot of great ideas for topics I want to write about and I will share with you some of my thoughts and perspectives.  My passion for delicious food and drink will offer you all some things to think about and definitely some topics to discuss.  I am glad to be a part of AboutBeverages.com and I look forward to hearing from you!
