Give It A Shot - Finca Flichman Gestos Malbec Mendoza Argentina 2016

We hope that you realized we did not put up any content last week, but that you did not miss us too much and will not hold it against us. The past 2 weeks have been somewhat crazy for both of us with celebrations, brand new starts, and emotions a-plenty. Now that the tears have subsided and we all settle into this years new routines, we at About Beverages are excited to be settling back into our regular schedule of sharing delicious beverages with you and having a lot of fun while we do it. This episode will feature the first of two wines that we tried that are both from Argentina. Next weeks wine was the bottle we created this theme around as it is a special bottle that Andrew purchased through a new website, but more on that next week. To start off this South American wine themed week we will be trying the Gestos Malbec and Malbec from Trader Joe’s. It is the 2016 vintage and is a blend of Malbec grapes grown at 2 elevations, hence the “Malbec and Malbec’ name. What did we think? What do you think?  Let us know in the comments below or join us live on Thursday nights to give us your feedback while we are live streaming on Twitch.
