Give It A Shot - Echigo Beer Flying IPA

With this episode, we officially make it a week of firsts here at About Beverages as we again try something from a category we have never before tried on our show. We also continue our trend of unintended theme weeks as both of this weeks selections come to us from the other side of the Pacific Ocean. We have tried a lot of beer on our show, but we have never before tried an IPA from Japan. Recently, Andrew was at a local international supermarket and found himself in the beer section, where he made this selection. On this episode we will be trying the Echigo Beer Flying IPA. Featuring Citra hops and an ABV of 5.5%, this beer comes from a brewery located in Niigata Prefecture. What did we think? What do you think?  Let us know in the comments below or join us live on Thursday nights to give us your feedback while we are live streaming on Twitch.
